REBECCA!! :)
I was really torn over this for a while. I loved the idea of having a doll that looked just like me (Samantha), but I liked the holiday Samantha much better than the regular Samantha. And Rebecca is such a gorgeous doll! I've wanted her for a long time.
What it all came down to was the realization that if I went for Rebecca now, there might be a possibility of getting my holiday Samantha in the future. If I chose the regular Samantha, I wouldn't necessarily feel like I should get another Samantha. ;)
So, besides revealing which doll I chose, this post is also a preview for a post to come. Mama had a big surprise in store for all of us. It was so exciting! Maggie and I can't wait to share the story with you. It should be up later this week, so keep checking back for a new post!! :)

Congratulations on Rebecca, Tess! We have the big and little versions here (the 18" one is mine, the smaller one is my sister's) and we love them both so much!
As for the whole "preview" thing, it all sounds very intriguing! I can't wait to see the post! :)

Congratulations on your Rebecca doll! I hope you are able to get Samantha someday, too. My friends who have those dolls all have more than one. Most of them have two or three, even Isabel (the girl who could be your twin). She's got Samantha and Nellie.

Thanks Sophie!! Yep, I figure if Mama can have 9 of us, surely it's not too far out of the realm of possibility for me to have 2 dolls of my own. :)
